Antoniu Nagy

Antoniu Nagy (2000, Romania) is currently studying piano at the National Music Academy ‘Gheorghe Dima’ under the guidance of Daniel Goiti. At the same time he’s attending online courses of the ‘Advanced Piano performance’ program Greenwich Piano Institute in New York under the guidance of Stefano Miceli. Throughout the time, he attended masterclasses and worked with different great professors and musicians: Stefano Miceli and Dizhou Zhao, Elizabeth Sombart, Moroianu Viniciu, Rado Judith, Salvatore Spano, Polina Osetinskaya and Roland Proll.

He is a laureate in several international and national competitions in Italy, Romania, France and the United States of America: Second prize at ” Pianotalents” International Piano competition 2015 , in Milan, for example: Second prize at ‘American protege’ international music competition 2016 in New York; First prize at the national instrumental Interpretation Olympics in Craiova, 2018; First prize at the Constanta International Piano Competition, 2019; First prize at the ‘Leopold Bellan’ International Music competition in Paris , 2020; First prize at the International Music competition in Oradea 2021; First prize at ‘Transylvanian Fair Chance’ international piano competition 2021; First prize at ‘San Dona di Piave’ international piano competition 2021.

He performed in important venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Gaetano Donizzetti Theater in Bergamo, Act City Hamamatsu concert Hall in Japan, Regina Maria Theater of Oradea, The Odeon Theater with the Opera orchestra of Bucharest. In 2019 he was invited by ‘Kawai’ to offer a series of Concerts in Hamamatsu and Tokyo, Japan. In 2021 he obtained a scholarship at The Princess Margareta of Romania’s Royal Foundation young talent promotion’s program.
