Evander Eijsink

Evander Eijsink (Hengelo, 2008) was fascinated by the piano at a very young age. Because of his passion and perseverance, he has already played in many concerts and participated in competitions and masterclasses. In 2014 he won a first prize at the Haydn Music Festival in Groningen. Evander also won at the YPF Junior Competition (2015), the Prinses Christina Concours (2016) and the Steinway Pianoconcours (2016) in Amsterdam. In 2017 he won a first prize at the Vitezslav Novak­pianowedstrijdin the Czech Republic. Evander has performed for Dutch television and radio and played a concert with the Nederlands Symfonie Orkest as one of the youngest soloists ever. This year he played with The Twents Youth Symphony Orchestra, The Frysk Youth Orchestra and with Mariam Batsasvhili at the Holland International Piano Series. Evander is taught by Marlies van Gent at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague.
