Guillermo Castellano Pérez Guillermo Castellano Pérez (2004, Spain) began his piano studies at the age of five at the Escuela de Música y Danza ‘José Lidón’. He continued his training at the Centro Integrado de Música ‘Padre Antonio Soler’ and is currently studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Prof. David Kuyken. Guillermo has earned significant recognition in international competitions, including First Prize at the International Piano Competition ‘Ciudad de Sevilla’. In 2024, he won the First Prize and several special prizes at the prestigious National Competition ‘Juventudes Musicales de Albacete’, one of the most important national competitions in Spain. Guillermo has had the privilege of learning from renowned international piano teachers such as Dejan Lazic, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Eldar Nebolsin, and Boris Berman. Since December 2023, Guillermo has been playing a Bösendorfer (Wenen, 1979) on loan from the Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds, further enhancing his performance capabilities as he continues his musical journey.
