Juan Lara Mijancos

Juan Lara Mijancos (2001, Spain) he began his musical studies at the age of seven at the Jacinto Guerrero Professional Conservatory of Music, under the guidance of Alejandro Muñoz Argany. Throughout his education, he earned several recognitions, including Third Prize and the Special Prize for Best Student at the XXIX National Piano Competition in Toledo (2016), and First Prize at the IV Mozart National Piano Competition – City of Talavera (2018). Selected for the Erasmus+ mobility program, he spent February 2018 in Florence, where he attended masterclasses with renowned pianists Patrizia Prati and Stefano Ranieri. He continued to refine his skills through masterclasses with distinguished musicians such as Alexander Kandelaki, Nino Kerezelidze, David Kuyken, Mariana Gurkova, Ana Guijarro, Mikhail Voskresensky, Kennedy Moretti, and many others. In 2023, he completed his Advanced Studies at the Bonifacio Gil Higher Conservatory of Music, studying under Alexander Kandelaki. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Professor David Kuyken.
