Julia Nefedov

Julia Nefedov (Eindhoven, 2007) started playing the piano when she was three and then started her first piano lessons. When she was six years old, she won second prize at the Princes Christina Junior Competition in the 8-and-under age category, and at the age of 7 she played in the semi-finals of the Rotterdamse Piano3daagse in De Doelen. At the age of eight she won second prize in the final of De Muziekwedstrijd for children up to 12 years old, participated in the show Superkids of RTL4 and was admitted to the Sweelinck Academy of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. There she studies with great pleasure with Marianne Boer. She has also taken master classes with Mila Baslavskaja, Marcel Baudet, Willem Brons and Nino Gvetadze. In April 2017 Julia won the final of the Steinway Pianoconcours held in the Kleine Zaal of Het Concertgebouw.
