Jure Jurakic

Jure Jurakic (2006) was born in Gouda. His mother is a professional clarinet player and his sister plays cello. He started playing the piano at the age of seven. Later, Jure started the preparatory course at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague, with his teacher Kamilla Bystrova. In 2018 he won second prize and the audience choice award at the Steinway Pianoconcours in the Kleine Zaal of Het Koninklijk Concertgebouw. Jure likes to play chamber music with various ensembles of the conservatory. He wants to be a concert pianist.
