Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden was a prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth’s contest at the age of sixteen and his career as a soloist has carried him since all over the world. Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden played with many symphony orchestras and prestigious conductors such as Paul Kletzky, Rudolph Barshaï and Yuri Temirkanov. His repertoire includes almost all of the great concertos, many works of chamber music and the integral piano work of Maurice Ravel. His discography is very diverse: from the Grieg to Arthur De Greef concertos (first world recording), from the Lekeu Sonata for violin and piano (with the late Philippe Hirshorn) to the Brahms sonatas and trio for clarinet with Walter Boeykens. Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden is currently Master in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Musical Chapel and is the artistic director of the European Piano Center Eduardo Del Pueyo. Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden was ennobled by King Philippe as a Knight in 2018.
