Jan Wijn, unique teacher of top pianists passed away

It is with great sadness that the man who lovingly, generously and imaginatively helped generations of top pianists discover and develop themselves has passed away.

The Young Pianist Foundation is very grateful to piano pedagogue Jan Wijn for his enthusiasm and support towards our organization.

Many winners of the competition have blossomed thanks to Jan Wijn’s lessons.
