02Feb By Adrian de GroenFri 11 February 2022Concours Quarter Finals in full swing The Quarter Finals of the YPF European Piano Competition 2022 have kicked off at full speed. Thursday 10 February the first 5 participants played and today the next 6 of the 24 participants from 15 different countries play their quarter final. In the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, the quarter-finalists perform under the watchful eye of the international jury and the public, who can enter for free. The play of all young talents can also be followed via our livestream. Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 February, day 3 and day 4 of the Quarter Finals will take place. On Sunday around 5 p.m., the jury will announce which eight talents will advance to the Semi Final on Wednesday 16 February, also in the Bimhuis. Free entrance (register on arrival and QR check) During the announcement on Sunday 13 February, the Prize for the best performance of a work by a Dutch composer in the Quarter Finals will also be awarded.
