YPF Piano Competition 2013
We are happy to announce the fifth edition of the YPF Piano Competition. It will take place from 15 - 24 November 2013 in Amsterdam. The deadline of online application is Sunday 15 September 2013.

Op zondagmiddag 25 april maakte de vakjury in het Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ bekend dat de 25-jarige Daniël van der Hoeven uit Den Haag het YPF Nationaal Pianoconcours 2010 heeft gewonnen. Bobby Mitchell en Tobias Borsboom werden respectievelijk tweede en derde. Lees meer...
Winnaar Categorie A
Zaterdagmiddag 24 april maakte de vakjury in het Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ bekend dat de vijftienjarige He (Richard) Chang de finale van Categorie A (12-15 jaar) van het YPF Nationaal Pianoconcours 2010 heeft gewonnen. Richard kreeg uit handen van de juryvoorzitter Sieuwert Verster een cheque van €2500,-.

Recording session to facilitate application
In order to facilitate application for candidate participants, the YPF will organize free recording sessions in Amsterdam in May 2013. Exact dates, location and application procedures for these sessions will be announced later.
Special jury of YPF prize winners
NEW: A jury of YPF prize winners has been appointed to award an additional prize during the final on 24 November 2013 of the YPF Piano Competition: Hanna Shybayeva (2001), Nino Gvetadze (2004), Thomas Beijer (2007) and Daniël van der Hoeven (2010).
Opening Night Piano Competition 2013
It is a great honour to announce that Klaas de Vries will compose a special concert for the opening night of the YPF Piano Competition of 2013. Daniël van der Hoeven, winner of the 2010 edition, will be the performing artist on November 14 2013.
