Winner of the YPF Piano Competition: Ramon van Engelenhoven

We proudly announce the first prize and Grand Prix-winner of the YPF Piano Competition: Ramon van Engelenhoven! With many thanks to Nathan Schaumann and Sophiko Simsive, who where amazing contestants in the final, the Noord-Nederland Orkest, and conductor Pieter-Jelle de Boer.

Congratulations to the first prize winner of the 3rd category: Sophiko Simsive! We also congratulate Aliya Iskhakov and Pedro Emanuel Pereira with winning the 2nd and 3rd prize.

We congratulate the first prize winner of the 2nd category: Ramon van Engelenhoven! And congratulations to 2nd prize-winner Anne Brackman and 3rd prize-winner Satomi Chihara; they proved to be tough competition. A big thank you Iteke Wijbenga and Roberta Cristini for playing a beautiful Mozart Kegelstatt trio with the three contestants.

The first candidate for the Grand Final has been announced! After an exciting afternoon, the Jury has decided that Nathan Schaumann (15) will be promoted to the Final of the YPF Piano Competition 2015.
